Context of Research Project within a Subject of Human Capital
Economic and social systems are transforming under the influence of new technologies, and the reflection of these processes in the patterns of population behavior, business strategies, social institutions and the agenda of public administration is a key global trend that has determined the development of human potential and an increase in its contribution to sustainable development. The need to deepen understanding of the role of man in the economy and society in a rapidly changing technological environment, research into the future, involving the development of long-term development forecasts, taking into account technologies that can make a significant contribution to finding answers to counter fundamental changes in economic and social relations, as well as opportunities for their implementations are becoming more and more relevant.
The research project Conducting a Comprehensive Foresight Study of Human Potential is focused on a person and his life and will include a comprehensive assessment of the impact of technology on improving human health, developing his abilities, mitigating social inequality and injustice, and its results will become the basis for making managerial decisions and setting priorities funding for research and development.

A sociological survey of public opinion has been conducted on the attitude to ethical issues related to the spread of biohacking and human enhancement technologies. More than 2000 people from all regions of Russia took part in the online survey. The main questions concerned the general attitude to new technologies of human enhancement (the use of various technologies for oneself and one's child, the purposes of their use, the reasons for refusing them, the amounts that a person is willing to spend on them), as well as to digital technologies in people's daily lives ( virtual assistants, assistant robots, unmanned vehicles, smart home technologies, etc.), trust in artificial intelligence technologies in everyday life (for driving a car, choosing a profession, making a diagnosis, selecting medicines, making court decisions, etc.).
