Human Capital Multidisciplinary Research Center’s series of educational seminars and workshops. The cycle is carried out in cooperation with the HSE and RANEPA.
3. Additional Professional Education According to the PICK System
A series of trainings for teachers Plurilingual Intercultural Creative Keys (PICK; The Keys to the Future) is a unique learning system developed at the Laboratory for Linguistic, Intercultural and Creative Competences at the HSE School of Psychology. It provides teachers with practical and methodological tools that develop students’ key aptitudes necessary to form their systemic adaptation: creative, multilingual, and intercultural competences.
4. Online course Universal Competencies and New Literacy
The online course gradually introduces students to the essence of the competence approach in education. First, students learn about the reasons for its appearance and the general structure of competencies and new literacy. Then, they understand in detail the practices of forming different competencies and literacy, designing subject courses and lessons with this goal in mind. And finally, they get acquainted with how to implement these practices in teaching in order to ensure their sustainability in a particular school or university.
5. Microdigree Applied Cognitive Neuroscience
This program provides an opportunity to master the initial skills necessary for the integration of knowledge from the field of cognitive sciences into another professional environment. The program is unique within the framework of the cognitive sciences provided by additional vocational education and is taught in English. Completing the program involves mastering programming skills and its application in cognitive sciences, familiarity with computational, applied, cognitive neuroscience and behavioral genetics.
6. The Program of Additional Professional Education «Aging of the Population»
The program «Aging of the Population» is one of the significant components of the «Population and development» issue. The purpose of the program «Aging of the Population» is to improve students' existing knowledge and gain new competencies in the field of countering the negative effects associated with population aging. During the course, students will have the opportunity to study aspects of the problems of population aging, the use of national transfer accounts. Special emphasis is placed on the impact of population aging on the achieved level of public health.
